OU Administration and Faculty Union Meet, Focus on Non-Economic Contract Articles

The bargaining teams for the Oakland University administration and the OU chapter of the American Association of University Professors (OU-AAUP), the faculty union, met June 13 as part of ongoing 2024 contract negotiations.

During the session, as agreed to during their June 4 meeting, representatives from OU-AAUP presented the administration with their proposed language changes to the contract. The administration is reviewing those proposals and expects to provide the union a set of proposals on all unresolved non-economic articles during the next session, scheduled for June 19.
